About Us

Bulwer Lodge of Cairo No 1068 is a friendly group of people who always make you feel welcome. Members come from all walks of life and join for a variety of reasons: to make new friends; just moved into the area and want to make new connections; charity work; to make a difference in the community; a family member or friend is one. Whatever your reason for joining, you will find us ‘upright citizens’ and ‘on the level’ and we will always offer you ‘a square deal’.*

Bulwer Lodge of Cairo is one of the oldest masonic lodges and is steeped in history, see our history page.

Becoming a Freemason gives you access to an international organisation where you and your family will be welcome and which supports many charities, both masonic and non-masonic, raising money and donating many hours of volunteer work. In 2019 alone, £42m was given to a very wide range of deserving causes through the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF).
